Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis received a lot of criticism earlier this season when the Canadiens were sitting near the bottom of the NHL standings and looking confused in the defensive zone while giving up way too many goals. Some fans were even calling for him to be fired.
But St. Louis has turned things around. His players are buying into his system and it shows in the standings, where the Habs are now legitimately “in the mix” for a playoff spot.
In this Hockey Inside/Out bonus episode former Canadiens teammates and 1986 Stanley Cup champions Chris Nilan and Rick Green join The Gazette’s Stu Cowan to discuss what has impressed them most about the job St. Louis has done this season.
