Joel Dommett will once again welcome a whole host of disguised celebrities to the stage in Saturday’s episode of The Masked Singer as the show’s finale edges ever closer.
Tattoo was the latest star unmasked as it was revealed Carol Decker was hiding under the costume, and this week, another mystery famous face will be following in her footsteps.
And one contestant who may bite the dust is Kingfisher, a performer who had the ITV studio audience on their feet last week with their rendition of Goo Goo Dolls hit, Iris.
Several guesses and theories have emerged among the judging panel and ITV viewers alike since their debut, with predictions ranging from Harry Hill to Simon Farnaby.
However, following Kingfisher’s latest clue package, some fans think the person under the disguise may be somebody used to singing on stage – particularly in front of millions across the globe.

“I don’t mind a bit of risk, but you can’t think I’m going to reveal that just yet. Still not sure who I am? Are you getting caught in too many loose threads?
“I’m a colourful Kingfisher who’s led a colourful life. Well, I’m ready to tackle this next challenge.
“I don’t wanna build up my next performance too much, but I feel like I’ve laid the right groundwork and I’m ready to raise the roof tonight. Will the panel see the big picture?”
All four judges began conferring during the package, especially when Kingfisher tucked into a fried breakfast and when Gilligan spotted numerous gardening features in the background.

Trying to put all the clues together, one Masked Singer fan took to Reddit to combine the new clues with those from previous episodes and they ended up convinced it could only be Bucks Fizz singer Mike Nolan under the mask.
Explaining their theory, they penned: “Looking at the grades they spell out As and Bs. Looked like ABBA.
“ABBA competed at Eurovision. He talked about being colourful and who was a colourful Eurovision entry? Buck’s Fizz. I think it is: Mike Nolan!”
Sadly for the Redditor, their fellow viewers struggled to see past Kingfisher being unmasked as either Harry Hill or bookies’ favourite Simon Farnaby – although there was one other alternative that has garnered attention on social media.
One user put forward: “I think it’s the artist, Grayson Perry. It sounds like him. The clues fit – the vases, ‘loose threads’.
“He did a documentary series called Grayson Perry’s Full English (breakfast). Him singing ‘Rainbow Connection’ could be a clue to his art being colourful.”

The theory of Perry being behind the Kingfisher mask gained traction on X, formerly Twitter, as well, with several viewers putting throwing their guesses into the debate.
“Not seen this posted anywhere else yet but we are 100% certain that #Kingfisher is Grayson Perry #TheMaskedSinger #maskedsingeruk,” one confident X user penned. during last Saturday’s show.
“Grayson Perry for Kingfisher #MaskedSingerUK,” a second echoed before a third weighed in: “Guess 3, kingfisher, I think it’s Grayson Perry #MaskedSingerUK #maskedsinger.” (sic)
Fans will have to wait until Kingfisher is voted off the show to see if their guesses are correct.
