One weather alert for snow and ice across Northern Ireland may have ended, but a second is already in place and the Met Office is also still warning of more high winds to come.
Parts of the region have already been hit by snow, while dealing with the fallout from Storm Éowyn.
However, a yellow alert that was in place overnight has ended at 10am on Saturday – only to be followed by another from 6pm this evening until 10am on Sunday.
Wintry showers and some snow accumulations are expected, perhaps of 2-5cms in areas above 150m and more on higher ground. Icy patches are also expected on untreated surfaces.

Meanwhile, a further yellow alert for wind is in place on Sunday from 10am until 7pm, forecasting gusts of 40-50mph quite widely and up to 60mph in exposed areas, particularly along the coast.
It follows the devastating impact Storm Eowyn left across the island of Ireland which saw wind speeds of over 100mph tear through infrastructure and foliage.
According to the Met Office, “given ongoing recovery work after Storm Éowyn, impacts may be more widespread than would ordinarily be expected with winds of this strength”.

Amid the worst storm in decades, the highest recorded wind speeds were seen at Belfast Harbour which saw 102.6mph – a new record for the area.
The red weather warning event left over a quarter of a million people in Northern Ireland without power and may take up to 10 days to restore, according to Northern Ireland Electric (NIE).
As the nation recovers from Storm Eowyn, the Met Office has said its effects will continue to diminish as it moves northeast but there will be “little respite” in the conditions to come.
Saturday will bring wintry showers of rain, sleet and snow, before a widespread frost tonight and temperatures as low as -4C.
Sunday will see bright spells, but then clouds thickening and period of rain along with strengthening winds.
The outlook for the start of the week ahead remain wet and windy, with more settled conditions by late on Tuesday, but further rain spreading on Wednesday.
