Durham Regional Police are looking to identify a group of males after an assault outside a bar in Whitby.

Police say, on June 9 at around 2 a.m., the victim was at the Brooklin Pub in the area of Baldwin St. and Winchester Rd. E. where he had a verbal altercation with one of the suspects.

Authorities say upon leaving the bar, the victim was assaulted by a group of males, including the initial suspect.

The victim was taken to a local area hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators are looking to identify five suspects and have released photos.

Suspect number one is described as a white male with a medium build, wearing a black baseball hat, white shirt, grey pants and white shoes.

Suspect number two is described as white male with a medium build, wearing a black baseball hat, blue shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Suspect number three is described as white male with a medium build, wearing a black baseball hat, maroon sweater, blue jeans and white shoes.

Suspect number four is described as a white male with a medium build, medium length brown hair, wearing a black shirt, black pants and white shoes.

Suspect number five is described as brown male with a medium build, wearing a black baseball hat, maroon shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
