See You On The Other Side was originally meant to be one of several short stories set on the River Lagan between Belfast and Lisburn, inspired by the Lagan Valley as a beautiful setting. I wanted to write a tale that portrayed life on the Lagan canal in its prime, to show the characters, social dilemmas, and divides of the time.
