Primark has launched a new £3 moisturising lip buff that’s causing a stir among beauty enthusiasts, with some comparing it to REFY. The brand’s beloved lip buff, priced at £16, is a favourite among beauty experts and one of the store’s top-selling items.
According to the product description, the “world-first lip serum and plumper” hydrates and soothes. REFY explains that the unique applicator and formula “exfoliate your lips, leaving a smooth finish and a naturally fuller look.”
The applicator is designed to buff away dead skin cells, and the serum maintains smoothness and hydration with a vegan-friendly formula containing a natural plumping plant-based agent, aloe vera extract, and amino acids.
On the other hand, Primark’s £3 lip buff, described as “moisturising, soothing and hydrating,” includes hyaluronic acid and aloe vera extract in its ingredients. Although different from REFY’s bestseller, Primark’s version also features an applicator that resembles REFY’s.
The comparison between the two products was inevitable, and beauty aficionados didn’t hesitate to point out the similarities. On TikTok, beauty enthusiast @Ccaitmurphy showcased Primark’s product, exclaiming: “I’m sorry, but REFY who.” She continued: “Primark has done it AGAIN,” reports the Mirror.
Primark offers a range of lip care products, such as the £2.50 PS… Vitamin Lip Oil and the £2.50 PS… Lip Tint. The vitamin-rich lip oil comes in peach, orange, or hot pink shades, while the lip tint is available in light pink, dark pink, and light brown.
There’s also a PS… Pro Peptide Lip Treatment with shea butter and a peptide complex, available for £3.50, as well as a PS… Pro Intense Lip Mask enriched with vitamin E and jojoba oil at the same price. Other lip care products include a Strawberry Lip Scrub with vitamin E for just £1.30 and a Cherry Lip Scrub infused with vitamin E and cherry seed oil for £1.30.
