Princess Anne has returned to the UK to reunite with her husband following a two-day solo trip to South Africa.
The Princess Royal was forced to make the trip alone after her husband suffered a suspected torn ligament.
Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, a former naval officer, sustained the injury while working at Gatcombe Park Estate, where he resides with Princess Anne.
Anne, 74, flew by commercial flight on Tuesday to undertake a series of engagements in Cape Town.

The visit began with an engagement at the South African Riding for the Disabled Association, where Anne observed riders during their sessions at the Cape Town-based organisation.
The group mirrors the UK charity she presides over, with both organisations using horse riding as a therapeutic tool to enhance the well-being of children and adults with physical disabilities.
The Princess Royal also attended the British High Commission to view an exhibition by former England cricketer Nick Compton, grandson of celebrated batsman Denis Compton.
During her two-day visit, the Princess Royal, who is president of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, unveiled the Cape Town Labour Corps Memorial.

The memorial honours more than 1,700 South Africans, who died during World War One and have no known grave.
The royal schedule included visiting the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation and stopping off at the Royal Cape Yacht Club and the South African Astronomical Observatory during her stay.
The Princess Royal last visited South Africa in 2012 during Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Despite the 11-hour flight back from the South African city, the Princess Royal is set to attend the grand military meeting at Sandown Racecourse in Surrey.
