Fans of H&M Home may want to check out their nearest Primark, as the affordable high-street retailer has revamped its homeware range. It now features some pieces that could easily be mistaken for H&M Home.

Some of the homeware slightly resembles H&M’s signature style, but without the hefty price tag. A Primark customer, Joanne Welsh, took to TikTok to showcase the new items she discovered at her local store.

She captioned her video: “@Primark home new in… wow!” The video highlighted a sandalwood and oud room spray in a sophisticated brown glass bottle with a wooden top, priced at only £5.

This item arguably resembles H&M Home’s Amber Oud Room Spray, which comes in a similar brown bottle but costs £12.99. Joanne also featured Primark’s Tassel Trim Large Plush Throw, available in four colours (cream, taupe, green, and brown) for £12.

This throw is similar to H&M’s wool-blend blanket, priced at £25 and available in the same colours. A viewer, Isabella, tagged a friend, saying: “Wooden diffuser and decor for your bathroom!!!!” The friend replied: “Me running to Primark.”

Another customer, Tina, mentioned purchasing the store’s new soft mink pillows for £4 each. However, some viewers seemed to have not yet seen the new range at their local Primark, reports the Mirror. Emms commented: “Whatttt my Primark must be brokennnnn.” Another wrote: “My primark isnt primarking I think.”

Primark is also charming shoppers with its new Scalloped Gold-Tone Detail Dinner Plate, described as a “pretty dinner plate” featuring scalloped edges and “elegant” gold-toned rim. The retailer boasts: “Perfect for bringing a luxurious feel to your table setting.”

H&M Home is serving up its own version of chic tableware with a white porcelain plate adorned with scallop detailing and gold edges. It’s priced at £9.99, offering an alternative albeit slightly costlier than Primark’s stylish £6 offering.

Price aside, distinctions still remain between the ranges at H&M and Primark – for instance, the quality. H&M’s wool-blend blanket carries a higher price tag than Primark’s similar-looking product due to the use of pricier material.

Other highlights from Primark’s latest range in home décor also include a gold Art Deco Mirror, oozing opulence without stretching budgets at £14. There’s also a Large Scalloped Vase for £10 that seems ready to compete with luxe brands like The White Company.
