One of the victims of a stabbing attack at a warehouse in Croydon has described the moment he risked his life to “go after” the knifeman.

Victim Joseph Denton, 29, said that a black male in a balaclava started “stabbing people in a warehouse.”

Denton, who was on the site to conduct an audit, said that he was locked in an office to stay away from the attacker.

But he described the moment that he and some others decided to rush out and go after the attacker.

“It sounded like they were getting killed, so we decided to open the door and go and help them because it sounded like they were in trouble.

“At which point he turned around and sprinted towards us, and then got halfway in the door before I could shut it, and then was stabbing at me.”

WIth stabbing motions, Denton described how the masked knifeman attacked him and caused an injury to his hand, which he said was bandaged by the police.
He described the weapon as a “rambo knife.”
