An angry Haitian gang member was among eight violent migrant offenders arrested near Boston by immigration officers this week in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s order to detain and deport criminals living illegally in the country but protected by sanctuary cities.
“I’m not going back to Haiti,” the hostile man told a Fox News camera from inside a Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) vehicle.
“F— Trump, you feel me? Yo, Biden forever bro. Thank Obama for everything he did for me, bro.”
Officials said the Haitian man had at least 17 recent convictions.
Vice President JD Vance wrote on social media that he is glad the man is being deported.
“Do you agree or would you like him as your neighbor?”
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin tagged along with ICE officers as they conducted immigration sweeps of foreign criminals, including multiple MS-13 gang members as well as murder and rape suspects.
Shortly after the arrest of one MS-13 gang member, another illegal immigrant taken into custody at the same Boston building, which officials termed a “collateral” detainment.
White House Border Czar Tom Homan said more “collateral” arrests are to be expected as ICE rolls out its agents to root out the most violent illegal residents.
“When we find the bad guy, there’s probably others,” he said, reports the New York Post. “Others that are in the United States illegally. They may not be a criminal priority but we’re not walking away from them.”
On Tuesday, immigration officials took more than 300 migrant criminals into custody in Boston, Denver, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Seattle, Washington, DC, and Miami, according to administration officials.
The Trump administration said more than 700,000 illegal migrants with criminal records are being targeted for deportation, including those living in sanctuary cities.
That is in stark contrast to Joe Biden’s border policies, which saw many millions of people enter the country illegally.
