The Duchess of Edinburgh stepped out visit to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on Thursday, where she met with members of the Band of the Coldstream Guards.
Sophie, 60, who serves as Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Corps of Army Music, was welcomed to the military training academy in Camberley, Surrey, with a special fanfare.
Seven band members, dressed in their distinctive scarlet tunics and bearskin caps, performed for the Duchess upon her arrival.
The Band of the Coldstream Guards, one of the oldest and most renowned bands in the British Army, has a rich history dating back to the early years of military music.

The Duchess has previously seen the band perform at numerous high-profile events, including Trooping the Colour, the National Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph and The King’s Birthday Parade.
Sophie made sure to stay warm in a pale grey woollen coat from British designer Suzannah London, worth £2,590.
Beneath her outerwear, the Duchess wore an elegant Prada polka-dot dress, estimated at £3,400.
Her blonde hair was styled in a neat low bun, complemented by natural makeup including lightly filled eyebrows.

The Duchess accessorised with nude heels featuring pearl detailing, silver flower-shaped earrings, and a dainty gold necklace.

The distinctive badge features a Crown Lyre within an oak and palm wreath, accompanied by the Latin motto ‘Nulli Secondus’ – meaning ‘second to none’.
During her visit, Sophie was treated to a special musical performance by the Band of the Coldstream Guards.

The Duchess then officially opened the Duchess of Edinburgh Hall at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, unveiling a golden plaque bearing her name.
The visit concluded with dinner at Gibraltar Barracks in Camberley.
Despite having just celebrated her 60th birthday on January 20, the duchess has maintained a busy schedule of royal engagements this week.
Earlier in the week, she visited Dogs for Autism in Hampshire, where she delighted in meeting puppies including a nine-week-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lord Louis of Spudringham.
