David Beckham has made his feelings clear about the Royal Family amid his ongoing feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The former England football captain attended the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland this week.
Beckham discussed his work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and his connection to the Royal Family at the event.
Speaking with CNBC anchor Sara Eisen on January 21, Beckham revealed his lifelong admiration for the monarchy.

“I always get emotional talking about anything that I do with our royal family, because I’ve always been a huge royalist.
“I was brought up in a household that adored and loved everything that came with the royal family.”
Beckham was announced as an ambassador for The King’s Foundation, King Charles’ charity focused on sustainability and the next generation, in June 2024.
The Inter Miami FC co-owner expressed his honour at being asked to join the foundation by King Charles.

“Over the years, I’ve done a lot with the Prince of Wales,” Beckham said during his Davos appearance.
The former footballer emphasised his unwavering commitment to royal causes, stating: “Whenever the Prince of Wales sends me a message and says, ‘I need you to do this’ or ‘Be there’, it’s always a ‘Yes.'”
His work with Prince William has spanned various causes, including veterans’ support and emergency services.
One of the most significant collaborations between Beckham and Prince William was the London Air Ambulance’s “Up Against Time” campaign.
