A 30-year-old woman is wanted for allegedly stealing a high-end watch from a date while at a downtown hotel earlier this month.
Toronto Police say officers responded to a theft call at the hotel near Wellington St. W. and Blue Jays Way around 2 p.m. on Jan. 6.
“It is alleged that the suspect and complainant went out on a date,” Const. Laura Brabant said in a statement Wednesday, explaining the suspect allegedly “stole a luxury watch from the complainant.”
Investigators subsequently identified a suspect and executed a search warrant at a residential address in south Etobicoke – near Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Parklawn Rd.
“It is further alleged that several luxury items were seized at the address,” Brabant said.
Bianca Azaria Bourne-Nikolajev, of Toronto, is wanted for theft over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime exceeding $5,000.
Police have released an image of the wanted woman, described as about 5-foot-8 and 115 pounds with a thin build and black hair.
“Investigators are looking to identify owners of the luxury items that were seized during the search warrant,” Brabant said, adding anyone who believes they have been a victim of a theft involving the accused should some forward.
