Molly-Mae Hague has been slammed by road safety charities and could even face the threat of prosecution for eating chicken nuggets whilst driving.
The incident occurred during her new Amazon Prime series – Molly-Mae: Behind It All – where she gave her fans an inside look into the breakdown of her relationship with Tommy Fury.
During the first episode, Hague and some of her team were seen visiting McDonalds, where the 25-year-old influencer ordered a large Chicken Big Mac meal, six chicken nuggets, a mozzarella dipper share box, and three dips: curry, ketchup, and BBQ.
Upon securing her food, she soon began tucking into her nuggets whilst she continued to drive, telling the camera: “I love food like I actually live to eat.
“So many people that are around me are like ‘I’ll just get the salad’ and that could never be me. If it’s salad with chips then yeah, I’m on board.”
However, since the release of the episode, road safety advocates have become concerned with her ability to drive safely and keep her concentration while eating.

They expressed their concerns over the potential hazards of eating while driving, emphasising that such distractions can significantly impair a driver’s focus and reaction times.
Some charities have suggested that Hague should have taken a break whilst driving if she insisted on having something to eat.
A spokesperson for IAM RoadSmart told the Daily Mail: “While it’s not illegal to eat while driving, anything that takes your attention away from the road is distracting, and the police can prosecute for careless driving.
“Even in dry conditions, if you’re travelling at 60mph and eating, and you’re suddenly forced to slam the brakes on in an emergency, it’ll take you over 70 metres to come to a stop.

“If you’re distracted, you may even fail to brake at all which risks a huge collision. Then there are the risks posed by spilling hot food on your lap, which may cause an involuntary reaction.
“All this puts other road users at risk and dramatically increases the chances of crashing and killing or seriously injuring someone.
“There needs to be more awareness, especially among young drivers, that this isn’t acceptable behaviour: IAM RoadSmart research of the driving habits of 18-26 year-olds found that nearly half (46 per cent) admitted to eating behind the wheel.
“Our advice to Molly-Mae Hague is to avoid eating while driving and take a break instead.”
Alongside the safety concerns surrounding her driving, Hague has also been forced to hit back at the “challenging” backlash the “challenging” backlash and claims their split was a publicity stunt.
She told Closer: “I have mixed emotions. Some days I’m feeling slightly more anxious, sometimes I’m like, you know what, I’m really proud of what we’ve created.

“It’s definitely been challenging at times, but I think I have to let go and trust that I need to just show my honest self. I’m ready for it to be out there now and to see what everybody thinks.”
Addressing the “publicity stunt” backlash earlier this month, she explained: “People say, ‘Oh, this has obviously just been done for long-term brand or a publicity stunt’, that is very painful because it’s real life.
“Tommy and I have a baby together, and it’s very, very real, and it’s a really hard thing that we’ve both gone through the last six months. I wish it was, because it would have been a lot easier, but it isn’t.”
GB News has contacted Hague’s representatives for a comment on the backlash.
