A Bristol pub is hosting a special watch party for the series three finale of BBC reality show, The Traitors, this Friday (January 24). Seamus O’Donnell’s, the Irish bar on St Nicholas Street, will be allowing pubgoers to watch the finale episode live – and a special guest will be joining them.
Season two’s Charlie Bees, who hails from Kingswood, starred in last year’s edition of the popular reality series, which is hosted by Claudia Winkleman. Charlie will be appearing at the Irish pub on Friday night and those coming along to the watch party will be able to meet her in person.
For those who have never seen the show, which is based on Dutch series “De Verraders”, it sees 22 strangers head to a mesmerising castle in the Scottish Highlands in a bid to win up to £120,000. Host Claudia Winkleman picks certain contestants to become Traitors over the course of the series, with these contestants meeting up in secret to “murder” one of the remaining Faithfuls every night.
All of the contestants meet at a round table to “banish” someone from the game, with the aim of getting rid of the Traitors, who are desperately trying to remain undetected.
In a post to Instagram on Sunday (January 19) the Seamus O’Donnell’s team wrote: “Few things are 100 per cent in treacherous BBC reality show The Traitors, but we do know that the Series 3 finale is on Friday 24 January.
“With an average audience of over five million per episode, there’ll be no lack of, well, faithful viewers tuning into the final — and you can watch it here from 8:30pm before ‘Thank Drag it’s Friday’ with Alyssa Van Delle, featuring our local season 2 Faithful: Charlie Bees.”
The bar’s weekly drag night will begin at the slightly later time of 9.40pm this week, to make way for the Traitors watch party.
