Another said: “Although I have used ghds for decades, I wanted a much cheaper alternative for my daughter, and this set was an absolute steal at the price; definitely worth a try. However, of the negative reviews, one person said: “Found that these straighteners are only any use when on max heat, which isn’t too good for your hair. If they are on lower settings, they do little apart from make your hair full off static. Wouldn’t buy them again although i’m using them and they’ll do for now.”
Another said: “I like that it is really good price, looks pretty and leaves hair soft. Heats up quickly and has a nice long cord which makes it easy to use. The bad points are that it’s quite short compared to others I’ve had from the same brand. And also it pinches your hand because you have to hold it over the hinge. First time I used it it got me twice and it’s hurts quite a lot. I also really wasn’t a fan of that it was sent with no packaging. Just the straightener box with the label on it so anyone could have just opened it in transit. Luckily they didn’t and it arrived fine.”
