Does Barron Trump have what it takes to play professional basketball?

Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport thinks so.

The 18-year-old son of U.S. President Donald Trump already has a height advantage, as photos and videos show him towering over his family. Various media reports estimate his height anywhere from 6-foot-6 to 6-foot-9.

That has intrigued Rapaport, who suggests the NBA’s New York Knicks should sign him to see what he can do on the court.

Rapaport, commenting on Monday’s Inauguration Day, said the star of the show was ‘Big Body’ Barron as his father was sworn in as president for a second time.

“‘Big Body’ is going to do good things in this world,” Rapaport said in a video posted to X on Tuesday.

“And I was thinking, while Big Body was up there, standing in the back hulking, the Knicks should sign him to a 10-day (contract), see what he’s got.”

The Knicks have been without the services of imposing centre Mitch Robinson this season due to his slow recovery from ankle surgery last May.

“You never know,” the 6-foot-2 actor said. “You need another big man in the post. He looks like he’s got a soft touch, that big body.

“Big Body Barron, I rock with you. Strong young man.”

Rapaport also wondered if Trump’s other sons, Don Jr. and Eric, feel threatened by their half-brother being significantly taller.

“I wonder if they tussle, if they try to rough him up, ‘We’re the bigger brothers’ … ‘We were here first.’ Because they got to feel threatened by Big Body Barron.”

Barron Trump is attending New York University’s Stern School of Business as a freshman but lives at Trump Tower in Manhattan.

And he appears to be very popular on campus, according to one report.

“He’s at Stern so he’s studying business in some way,” a source told People in December. “He’s a ladies man for sure. He’s really popular with the ladies.”

The insider added that everyone is friendly with Barron, no matter their political stripe.

“He’s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive — yes, even liberal people like him.”
