An Italian prince admitted he hired a sex worker to teach him how to have sex, claiming he was too nervous to get into bed with his first girlfriend.

Emanuele Filiberto, 52, grandson of the country’s last deposed king, explained how he lost his virginity at an early age.

“I had a girlfriend and I wanted to make love with her, but I didn’t know how to do it,” Filiberto told Italian newspaper La Repubblica, according to a translation by the New York Post.

“So I had a prostitute teach me how to do it … It became clear to me very quickly,” he said.

Filiberto was born in Switzerland and grew up in exile until a law banning members of the House of Savoy was lifted in 2002.

Once he returned to Italy, Filiberto appeared on national TV, including that country’s version of Dancing with the Stars — which he won — and the Sanremo Music Festival.

The prince said his early sexual experience led him to engage in threesomes, which left him feeling “a little bit like an imbecile.”

However, Filiberto’s voracious sex life almost led to his death at the hands of a former girlfriend who turned violent.

“She threw a whiskey bottle at me,” he recounted. “But worse was when she threw a hairdryer which was switched on into the bathtub. Fortunately, the cord was short and unplugged the hairdryer.”

Filiberto lives in Monaco now while his wife, French actress Clotilde Courau, is based in Paris. He said they still “love each other dearly.”

“It is not quantity that matters but quality,” he said. “We are happy this way. In the beginning she was the whim of the prince who wanted to conquer the leftist actress. Today I love and respect her much more.”
