Two Bristol Bears players are opening a permanent wellness garden in the city this weekend. Harry Thacker and Jake Woolmore have spent more than a year building their new wellness brand, Sivo, and will be official opening their new home at The Stables in Leigh Court, this Sunday (January 19).

The facility boasts saunas and cold plunges, with sessions and plans ‘to suit all’ – be it testing the body’s limits, or taking time to relax and unwind. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Harry Thacker shared a series of images of the beginnings of Sivo Wellness, and wrote: “For those that didn’t know, myself and @jakechunkz have spent over a year now building @sivowellness, a company founded on a vision to increase the accessibility of contrast therapy.

“Whilst it hasn’t always been easy, far from it in fact, it’s something we are extremely proud of creating. A product/brand that has people leaving in a better place than when they came in, mentally and physically. We’ve met some incredible people through it and had tonnes and tonnes of laughs in the process, so we have decided to double down and set up a permanent location in the heart of Bristol – The stables, Leigh Court – which we are opening to the public this Sunday 19th.

“So if you’re interested in joining/helping us on our journey, come and visit, like/comment/share or just sit back and watch from afar! Thanking you.”

Taking to the comments, locals, fans and those that have already benefitted from Sivo’s services, were quick to share their admiration. TV personality and former footballer, Ashley Cain, was among them.

He said: “I can vouch that this facility and these boys truly saved my a**.. I recommend to anyone looking to improve their mental and physical health.”

A second commenter said: “What you guys have created is awesome. My life is in a much better place thanks to Sivo.”

Others commented to say they “couldn’t wait” to try it for themselves, describing it as looking “incredible”, “unreal”, and “awesome”, and adding: “Well done, lads” and “congratulations”.

According to the Sivo website, the team says: “You shouldn’t have to be a member of an elite health club or be taking crazy overpriced supplements to be a better version of yourself. At Sivo Wellness we want to make feeling and functioning at our best much more accessible and enjoyable.

“We understand that life is a balance, and that not one size fits all works to get the best out of ourselves. We want real life wellbeing to be available to the masses, not just fad diets, quick fixes or outrageous social media trends to dictate how we try to better ourselves. We want it to be real, we want it to work, and we want it to fit into real life.”

You can book a Wellness Garden Sauna & Ice session for £20 for 50 minutes, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, here. At time of writing, the website also advertises Bristol Harbour Sauna Sessions, priced at £8, and bookable here too.

Pricing plans range from £45 each month for the Bronze Membership (which allows you to book up to four sauna and ice sessions in the Wellness Garden a month), to £65 for the Silver Membership (which enables you to book up to eight sauna and ice bath sessions, and gives you one free guest pass each month), and £80 every month for the Gold Membership (which entitles you to book unlimited sessions each month, and gives you three free guest passes each month, too).

Harry and Jake have also launched a range of Sivo branded clothing, which includes a t-shirt and selection of hoodies for fans to purchase. These are priced between £25-£50.
