Houston +8.5 over KANSAS CITY
These two teams met just before Christmas and the Chiefs came out on top by eight points. In fact, when you look at the Chiefs’ 15 wins this season, only four game by more than eight points and K.C.’s average margin of victory was just 3.9 points. Of course, Houston has been fairly disappointing this season, but seriously stepped it up last week. While the Chiefs will be well-rested, there’s some massive motivation to prove their doubters wrong and could be able to keep this close.
DETROIT -9.5 over Washington
You can’t help but be impressed with the Commanders this season and especially Jayden Daniels’ composed play, but this is a different monster. For a welcome change, the Lions are starting to get some key players back from injury instead of losing them. Alex Anzalone is back in action to solidify the defence and David Montgomery’s return brings back the offence’s Sonic and Knuckles duo. Detroit should be hyped up for this one and not afraid to run up the score.

PHILADELPHIA -6 over L.A. Rams
Can the Rams ride the wave of emotion they got from the tragic California wildfires all the way to Philly? We’re not so sure. While the Eagles have been notoriously slow starters in games this season, they’ve been able to turn it on and hold an ATS record of 12-6, tied for the league’s best mark. Heading outdoors for a cold-weather game isn’t great news for the visitors, either, who will have a tougher time taking down Jalen Hurts than they did with shaky Sam Darnold last week. Don’t discount the extra day of rest, which benefits the hosts.
Baltimore -1 over BUFFALO
The main event of the weekend should be everything that it is being hyped up to be. While there’s a trend that when the line flips favourites that you should back the underdog, I don’t see it. There’s one big advantage that the Ravens have and it’s Derrick Henry. Buffalo will have a very hard time stopping him and that’s the key to this game, not the MVP matchup of Lamar Jackson vs. Josh Allen. Baltimore’s defence has massive stepped up down the stretch and should lead them to the AFC title game.
Last week: 4-2
This playoffs: 4-2
This season: 138-131-3
