A man was taken to hospital after a car crash involving multiple vehicles and a store in Bath city centre. Emergency services were called to Westgate Buildings at around 2.01pm today (Friday, January 17) after a car collided with a bus, two parked vehicles and Sports Direct.
Photos taken at Westgate Buildings show part of a wall smashed in of the Sport Direct building, with one car taken away on the back of a truck with a dented bumper, and another with a damaged door. Avon and Somerset Police attended with the South Western Ambulance Service.
A man was taken to hospital but a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said no one is though to have sustained serious injuries at the scene. A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: ““We were called at 2.01pm to reports a car had collided with a bus, two parked vehicles and a building in Westgate Buildings in Bath.
“Officers attended alongside the ambulance service. A man was taken to hospital but no one is believed to have suffered any serious injuries. The road was briefly closed but has since reopened.”
