Conor McGregor has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a VIP toilet while security stood guard and stopped friend from entering to trying to help.
A lawsuit was filed on Tuesday accusing the MMA fighter of sexually assaulting a woman in a restroom of the Kaseya Center, home to the Miami Heat.
The alleged incident is said to have occurred during Miami Heat’s NBA Finals game against the Denver Nuggets on June 9 in 2023.
A report handed to City of Miami Police described a 49-year-old woman who works on Wall Street making the allegation on June 11, 2023, less than 48 hours after the incident is alleged to have happened.

It also alleges that McGregor’s security team stopped the woman’s friend from trying to enter the stall where the assault was purportedly happening.
Criminal charges were later dropped, according to the Florida State Attorney’s Office, though a civil lawsuit is still being pursued.
Barbara Llanes, McGregor’s attorney, released a statement after a civil lawsuit was filed this week.
It read: “After a thorough investigation at the time, the State’s Attorney concluded that there was no case to pursue.
“Almost two years and at least three lawyers later the plaintiff has a new false story. We are confident that this case too will be dismissed.”
McGregor has denied the accusations.
The lawsuit alleges that McGregor and the woman were talking in the Courtside Club inside the stadium before she was told by a member of the UFC star’s team: “Conor told me to come get you.”
She then claims to have been grabbed by the wrist, at which point the woman asked to be let go before apparently being told: “No, Conor will kill me if I lose you.”

The woman claimed that McGregor took her to a men’s bathroom in the VIP section of the stadium before allegedly assaulting her.
It was also claimed in the lawsuit that McGregor was intoxicated at the time while also accusing staff and security at the Kaseya Center of committing gross negligence.
The woman’s friend tried to follow before being stopped from entering the bathroom where McGregor had allegedly taken the woman into before assaulting her, claims the lawsuit.

The woman’s attorney, Jim Dunn, released a statement claiming that a civil case is being pursued to urge other potential victims of sexual assault to come forward.
“My client has thought long and hard about the decision to pursue this civil case, and is fearful of the effect it may have on her job on Wall Street,” Dunn said.
“Nonetheless, her main goal in filing this suit is to raise awareness and encourage others to report sexual assault.”
