The Traitors fans who tuned into Wednesday’s episode were left unimpressed by the way the programme seemed to give away a huge twist.
Viewers normally enjoy the edge-of-the-seat outcome of the brutal roundtables, but as Traitor Linda was eliminated by her co-stars last night, fans think it had been an obvious result based on the build-up during the episode.
Linda has been criticised by viewers since the first episode for being a poor Traitor, but managed to remain under the radar for a while in the roundtable banishments.
Fellow Traitor Minah, on the other hand, seems to be playing a better game with a more subtle approach.
While Minah has in the past tried to steer suspicion away from Linda, a conversation show in Wednesday’s episode seemed to seal Linda’s fate.
“There was heat on you yesterday,” the 29-year-old told the retired opera singer, 70 when they managed to take advantage of a rare moment without anyone else around.

She continued: “If I’m really honest with you, I’m scared that if I overly defend you because we haven’t spent that much time together….”
Linda made the noble decision to sacrifice herself if the situation presented itself, telling Minah: “If it comes to it and it’s going to go that way, just vote for me.”
Putting her faith in Minah, she added: “I won’t hold it against you, and you go to the end, baby.”
After receiving Linda’s blessing, it seemed Minah’s mind was made up, meaning when it came to the roundtable fans weren’t surprised by what would have been a shock vote.
Linda was banished from Wednesday night’s episode

Linda’s name came up during the intense conversation, and while Minah remained quiet, she elected to vote out her fellow Traitor.
The Faithful haven’t been successful in voting out Traitors, so the outcome marked a big moment. However, most people felt it had been inevitable.
“This edit is screaming a Linda banishment tonight #TheTraitors #TheTraitorsUK,” one wrote on X.
“Oh my god THAT EDIT #TheTraitors,” a second remarked.
A third admitted: “Going to miss Linda but it was inevitable. I wish Lisa was recruited it would make her look so bad and undetected if she accepted the dirty deed she wouldn’t have though unless she really played her cards right #TheTraitors.”
“Why are they so cockahoop catching Linda as a traitor. She couldn’t have been more obvious if she tried. Will miss her though. #Linda,” another reflected. (sic)

“Linda was so obvious, it’s amazing she was able to stay in the game as long as she did. #TheTraitors,” someone else pointed out.
“Haaaaaaa! I knew Minah will vote Linda. She’s so obvious #TheTraitors,” someone else noted. (sic)
With Minah the only remaining Traitor, host Claudia Winkleman informed her she would need to attempt to recruit someone.
“You are the last Traitor standing,” Winkleman told her, adding: “Tonight, as per the rules of the game, you must now recruit.”
Mindah ended up selecting Charlotte as her new recruit, but fans will have to wait for Thursday’s episode to see whether or not Charlotte accepted.
