Emmerdale star Adam Thomas has recently shared his twin brother’s concerns prior to re-entering the Love Island villa again.
Scott Thomas, 36 year old Manchester PR guru, has jetted off to South Africa with hopes of romance in the upcoming series Love Island: All Stars. It’s been nearly eight years since Scott first stepped foot on the ITV show, forming a memorable duo with Kady McDermott.
The siblings’ love story endured for a year before they ultimately went their separate ways. Now, as Scott embarks on another quest for love, Adam, also known from Waterloo Road, chatted on This Morning where he mentioned that their family is wholeheartedly behind Scott.
While conversing with presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, Adam expressed his excitement: “We are loving it, it’s just brilliant. The whole family got together and watched the first episode and it was just amazing. I am so happy for him and I just want him to be happy and enjoy it.”
However, Adam conceded that Scott felt apprehensive about announcing his return to the reality show, stating: “When he was going in there, he didn’t want to tell anyone because he was scared that people were going to talk him out of it, because he is 36-years-old going into Love Island, but he is just doing what he wants to do and I can’t wait to see him fall in love, if he does”, reports Wales Online.
Additionally, Ben hinted at ongoing speculation regarding the show’s authenticity, mentioning: “There are a lot of rumours of it being fixed and everybody knows each other.”
Adam responded: “I don’t know so.” Ben queried: “Scott sort of knew India right?” To which Adam shed light on their mutual acquaintance, confessing: “Scott sort of knew India yeah because she is from Manchester so they have crossed paths before. Like Scott said, Ekin-Su slid into his DMs.”
The revelation was met with laughter as Adam quipped: “Why has he got all the DMs? I get nothing.”
The discussion took place as Adam, his brother Ryan, and other family members gathered to watch Scott in the opening episode of the new series on Monday night (January 13). At that time, Ryan shared his reaction on Instagram upon discovering that Ekin-Su Culculoglu was the series’ first bombshell.
In the shared footage, they could be seen exclaiming at the television hoping Ekin-Su would not pair up with Scott a moment just prior to Scott disclosing their past interactions.
