Two teens have been charged in connection with a violent altercation at an Ottawa high school.

A 16-year-old boy from Ottawa is facing charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and possession of a dangerous weapon, while a 15-year-old Ottawa boy is facing harassment and mischief charges.
Police say two other youths who were arrested on Monday were released without charges “pending further investigation.”
First responders attended Hillcrest High School on the morning of Jan. 13, and two people were hospitalized with stab wounds.
Paramedics say one of the victims was a boy in his late teens. The two victims were in serious, but stable condition, police said.
The high school was under lockdown for most of the day and four youths were arrested.
The identities of those charged are shielded by the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The investigation remains ongoing.
