A man who was attacked on a bus in Bristol was punched and headbutted and suffered facial injuries. The victim, a man in his 50s, was attacked while on a bus which was parked in Bridewell Street near the city centre.
The victim was punched and headbutted during the incident, which left him with facial injuries and a chipped tooth. He required treatment at hospital for his injuries. Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the attack.
The man pictured is described as being of mixed heritage, in his late teens or early 20s and has long, dark hair which is shaved at the front and sides. He was pictured wearing a grey zip-up top with black trim over a white top and dark trousers.
Anyone who recognises the person pictured, or who has information which may assist police is asked to call 101 quoting the reference number 5224274201.
A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said: “We’re continuing to investigate after a man suffered facial injuries following an assault on a bus in Bristol. We’re issuing a CCTV image of a man we want to speak to about this incident.
“The victim, a man in his fifties, was attacked while on a bus parked in Bridewell Street at about 3.15pm on Thursday 17 October. He was punched and headbutted, leaving him with facial injuries, including a chipped tooth, for which he received treatment at hospital.
“The man in the image is described as being of mixed heritage, in his late teens/early twenties, with long dark hair which was shaved at the front and sides. He was wearing a grey zip-up top with a black trim over a white top and dark trousers.
