Love Island: All Stars made a triumphant return, bringing back 12 familiar faces to the ITV dating show for another shot at love.

Maya Jama graced our screens once again on Monday (January 13) as she hosted the second series of the Love Island spin-off, and the opening episode certainly delivered.

The TV presenter welcomed Curtis Pritchard, Luca Bish, India Reynolds, Marcel Somerville, Elma Pazar, Catherine Agbaje, Olivia Hawkins, Ronnie Vint, Scott Thomas, Gabby Allen, Kaz Crossley and Nas Majeed back to the villa, but there was a twist in store.

Before the sexy singletons had a chance to couple up, they each participated in a ‘spicy’ ice-breaker game. As the boys gathered around the fire pit, Maya explained: “I have a bucket of red flags here and the game is simple. Girls, one at a time I want you to hand a red flag to one of the boys that you think deserves it most and explain why.”

“It could be based on what you already know about each other, maybe you’ve got some previous history or first impressions.”, reports Wales Online.

As the explosive game concluded, Maya dropped a bombshell on the Islanders. She announced: “The decision of who you couple up with is not down to you. The public have already coupled you up.”

However, before Maya unveiled the results of the public vote, fans confessed they’d already chosen their winners. One fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to declare: “Catherine and Curtis already giving winners vibes before anyone else is in there #LoveIsland #LoveIslandAllStars.”

Another commented: “My winners walked in together btw.” Meanwhile, a third viewer remarked: “Catherine and Curtis connecting and ignoring Maya is so funny but I kinda like the vibe between them hold on lol #LoveIsland.”

A fourth person chimed in with their reaction to potential spoilers: “Not they leaked the winners like this? ? ? ” adding a snapshot of Curtis and Catherine side by side for emphasis.

As speculation mounts, viewers are left wondering who will next claim the title as Love Island champions, following in the victorious path laid by Tom Clare and Molly Smith.

Love Island All Stars airs Sunday to Thursday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
