Meghan Markle is “not betting everything” and will “be fine” if her upcoming Netflix cooking show fails to meet expectations, a PR expert has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, is set to launch her new series “With Love, Meghan” on January 15, marking her latest venture into streaming content.

Edward Coram-James, CEO of Go Up, believes the duchess will simply “shift gears” if the eight-episode cooking and lifestyle programme doesn’t perform well.

The show, which was filmed near the Sussexes’ Montecito home, comes after Prince Harry’s recent Polo series reportedly struggled to attract viewers last month.

Coram-James said: “She’s not someone who’s betting everything on a single project.”

“She’s got a tonne of experience in the public eye, and it’s clear she’s learned how to roll with the punches.”

The eight-episode series will feature celebrity appearances from American actresses Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer, with Prince Harry also set to make a brief cameo.

Netflix describes the programme as reimagining lifestyle content, combining practical demonstrations with casual conversations.

“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected,” according to the streaming platform’s official description.

The show promises to take viewers beyond the kitchen and into the garden, with the duchess and her guests “rolling up their sleeves” across various activities.

The PR expert emphasised that Meghan has demonstrated resilience in the face of previous project outcomes.

He added: “Yes, Archetypes didn’t break the internet like some expected, and Pearl got scrapped — but that doesn’t mean she’s out of options.”

Coram-James believes the duchess’s ability to pivot between projects will serve her well, regardless of the show’s reception.

“If one show doesn’t work, she can easily shift gears,” the expert told the Express.

The series launch comes amid mixed anticipation, with early YouTube comments on the Netflix trailer suggesting potential divided viewer reactions.

However, Coram-James maintains that Meghan’s experience in handling public attention will prepared her for any outcome.
