A man expressed his shock after discovering the ‘worst’ names given to twins by a stranger.

He works for a company that supports school districts and was going through various documents when he stumbled upon the unusual names that left him reeling.

They were so ‘bad’, he felt compelled to share them on Reddit’s tragedeigh thread, a term used to describe a name “deliberately misspelled or completely made up to appear more unique than it actually is”. He said: “They have to be the worst names for twins ever. Going through a list comparing names clicking next like a madman!

“One name caught my eye and it made me go back a page. The kids name was Kocaine. Worst part is that the student was a twin. The twins name was Kilo. I would never have believed it if I didn’t see it myself.”

While some users expressed their shock over the names, others shared the ‘tragic’ names they have encountered. One user said: “When my daughter was in the NICU there were twin boys – Rhythem and Rhymez. It would have been bad enough without the horrid spelling.”

Another user added: “I knew two girls born on December 25, last name was Smith, girls were named Mary and Chris. That’s the only good matching twin name…” Get it? Sounds like Merry Christmas when you put it all together.

A third user said: “One of the best combos I’ve seen is my mum and her twin sister: Lynnet and Glynnis. AKA Lynn and Glynn. An old friend of mine has two sons – Bryan and Ryan… Might not be a tragedeigh but still.”
