TV stars Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon, despite their celebrity status, navigate the same parenting hurdles as any other young couple.

In an intimate chat with Essex Life, Joe revealed that they’re raising their bustling brood of six almost entirely on their own – with just a sprinkle of help from the grandparents: “It can be really difficult,” he admitted.

“We make a point of taking them out as often as we can because we work so hard to have time with them,” Joe disclosed, painting a picture of dedication and family unity.

The couple share three children – Rex, four, Rose, two, and Belle, one. Completing the family circle are Stacey’s sons from previous relationships, nearly twelve-year-old Leighton and sixteen-year-old Zachary, along with Joe’s sixteen year old son, Harry.

Their love for outdoor adventures is evident – Joe recounted recent trips to stunning locales like the Isle of Skye, Ben Nevis, and Loch Lomond, reports the Mirror.

He excitedly mentioned: “There’s so many good things to do with the kids that we’re spoiled for choice.”

Even the teenage contingent in the household finds delight in caravan escapes to the coast alongside Joe and Stacey. Joe wistfully acknowledges the fleeting nature of these days, knowing the boys will grow into independence soon.

Joe speaks fondly of their own upbringing and enthusiastically hopes to create similar cherished memories for their children: “They’re not going to be kids forever, so we just try to make as many memories for them as possible.”
