Hot Fuzz star Nick Frost and comedian Aisling Bea feature as husband and wife in Frost’s new comedy horror, Get Away.
Set to hit screens this week on Sky Cinema and NOW, the premiere of the playful slasher took place on Tuesday, with the actors sharing their experience of filming the horror in a “beautiful” Finnish setting.
Speaking to GB News and other media at the event, the four main cast members – Frost, Bea and their on-screen children Maisie Ayres and Sebastian Croft – chatted about the upcoming film, written by Frost himself.
Bea, 40, revealed at one point how a behind-the-scenes incident had been more frightening than the film itself as the cast reflected on their close bond.
When asked about how close they became as they filmed the Swedish-set movie in Finland, Frost, 52, commented: “Our first couple of days filming we were just in the car.
“That’s always fun, just being stuck in a car with three other actors.”

Croft responded: “Nick did a barbecue, he’s a really good cook.”
“I couldn’t get it to light… Eventually it did and it just blew up in my face,” the Shaun of the Dead star confessed.
Ayres then shared how she and Bea shared some wholesome moments, adding: “Aisling would cook me dinner sometimes.”
The reminder prompted Bea to reveal the worrying reason for her motherly support of the 21-year-old, though.

“I will say, the degree to which Maisie can’t cook… You really don’t know how to cook,” she remarked dryly.
The Irish actress added to a laughing audience: “Really, I feared she might die.”
Get Away tells the gruesome and comical story of a family holiday gone wrong, with a Rotten Tomatoes synopsis detailing: “The Smith family’s much-needed vacation to the remote Swedish island of Svalta takes a dark turn when they arrive during preparations for a mysterious local festival that celebrates a dark history.
“Unsettled by the unfriendly locals and strange rituals, they try to make the best of their trip, stubbornly enjoying the island’s isolation and natural beauty.
“However, as the festival looms closer, the family realizes something far more sinister is unfolding–especially when they discover that a serial killer is on the loose.”
Frost has also been careful to hide the major twist he hopes viewers won’t see coming.

Elsewhere, Frost admitted how his wife “hated” the film.
:My wife is not a horror person… she hated it. She didn’t like it at all,” he told The Independent.
“She said, ‘God it’s really violent isn’t it?’ The blood budget was big… There’s always room for more blood.”
