Stacey Solomon has reportedly encouraged her partner, Joe Swash, to up his organisation game at home as they welcome the new year.
Following the announcement of their upcoming TV documentary series about their life with five children, Stacey, known for her decluttering skills from her show ‘Sort Your Life Out’, expects Joe to step up and keep their home, Pickle Cottage, tidy.
With a hectic schedule juggling jobs, pets, and kids, Stacey is keen to minimise stress by keeping their living space in check. She’s convinced that a neat and organised home can help alleviate anxiety and feelings of being overwhelmed.
Their latest pledge is to bring more structure and calm to their household, with a particular focus on Joe’s involvement.
A source disclosed that the ‘Loose Women’ presenter believes ‘a messy house creates a messy mind’. They said: “She finds herself completely overwhelmed and anxious if things aren’t in order. She’s been ruthless this year at Pickle Cottage, completely decluttering the house from top to bottom. She’s been hoping that Joe will follow her lead and start trying to sort his life out at home, too,” reports the Mirror.
The insider told Closer that seeing Joe’s belongings scattered around the bedroom ‘can drive her mad’. Stacey, who has recently hinted at “big changes she’s always dreamed of,” is apparently taking a strong position to motivate Joe to “get his act together,” the source added.
According to a source, she ‘does a lot for him’ but plans to ‘put a foot down’ in 2025 and ‘tell him to get his act together’ regarding household chores and organising his personal belongings. The Mirror has contacted Stacey’s representatives for a response.
This news follows the couple’s announcement that they will be opening up their family life to cameras for a new TV series set to air in 2025.
Stacey and Joe have disclosed their participation in the upcoming TV series scheduled for next year. The Loose Women presenter and the former EastEnders actor share son Rex, as well as daughters Rose and Belle.
Stacey is also mother to two sons, Zachary and Leighton, while Joe has a son named Harry from a previous relationship.
While the number of episodes remains unconfirmed, Stacey hinted to fans that the new BBC series aims to help viewers ‘get to know them a little more’. Previous speculations about the series suggest it will provide an intimate look into the busy lives of Stacey, Joe, and their children at their luxurious Essex residence.
