The Royal Family are keeping their fingers crossed that Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series will be a success, according to an insider.
The Duchess of Sussex’s new project for the streaming giant, titled ‘With Love, Meghan’ will be released on January 15.
Senior members of the monarchy are hoping that the series that focuses on lifestyle and cooking will prove a success so that the Sussexes do not feel like they have to mention their royal connections in future, a royal source has claimed.
They told the Mail: “Everyone wants it to be a success.

“And that’s because, if it is, she and Harry won’t need to exploit their royal connections again.”
The insider added: “The last thing anyone wants is another Spare, this time from Meghan.”
In the eight-part series, Meghan will be sharing her personal cooking and lifestyle tips as she chats with a range of guests.
While Meghan’s husband, Prince Harry, and beloved late rescue dog, Guy, make cameos in the trailer, there are eleven other guests confirmed for the show.

Actress Mindy Kaling revealed exclusive details about her appearance in the Duchess of Sussex’s new Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” whilst speaking at the Golden Globes.
She revealed that her involvement in the series began with a personal text from Meghan during her maternity leave, inviting her to visit their Montecito residence.
The actress praised Meghan’s culinary expertise, stating: “I think of myself as kind of an okay cook and she unsurprisingly blew me out of the water.”
She highlighted the accessibility of Meghan’s recipes, whilst marvelling at the Duchess’s gardening abilities: “She has a garden from scratch, which I could never do, and chickens which would probably all die if I tried to take care of them.”
