As we look ahead to eating healthier in 2025, it’s often wise to take cues from the professionals.

Enter Emily English, a nutritionist who took to TikTok to divulge her daily diet secrets that contribute to her toned physique.

After flaunting her sculpted abs as encouragement for her followers, she swiftly delved into detailing her favourite breakfast choice. “For breakfast I’ve tried homemade protein bagels – you just use wholemeal flower, Greek yoghurt and I top them with poppy and sesame seeds,” Emily professed.

She elaborated on the process, saying that she “shapes and bakes” the bagels using an air fryer for around half an hour until they’re perfectly golden. “I then re-toasted my bagels, topped with cream cheese, salmon, red onion and dill, adding a little bit of lemon juice,” she added enthusiastically.

Convinced by the outcome, Emily remarked: “These were so good – I can’t believe how well they turned out – I’ll definitely be making them again.”

When it comes to lunch, soups are her go-to, even including a “secret ingredient”. She revealed: “For lunch I made a soup that’s been going a little bit viral on social media.”

Emily’s culinary adventure started with her slicing several tomatoes and red peppers, placing them in a baking dish to roast for a delicious roasted tomato red pepper protein soup. She added a twist with vegetable stock and an unexpected ingredient, cottage cheese, blending it all together and promising: “Trust me guys, it really works – it makes this soup so rich and creamy and kind of tastes a bit like Heinz.”

She finished off the soup with a sprinkle of honey Parmesan sourdough croutons, before sharing her dinner creation.

Emily told how she whipped up some egg fried rice packed with hearty festive greens—brussels sprouts, peas, king prawns, and smoked pancetta, all contributing to a satisfying evening meal.

Her food routine quickly grabbed the attention of many TikTok users. Among the comments, someone wrote: “Wow those bagels look delicious.”

Another couldn’t hide their admiration, saying: “New Year’s resolution is to have a full day of my life cooked by you! ” A third admitted they were keen on trying the unique soup, commenting: “I really want to try the cottage cheese and tomato soup as I find it hard to get the protein in.”

And yet another user summed up the general sentiment by lauding: “Everything you make looks like stuff I would pay for – you should open a café.”
