Martin Lewis, founder of MoneySavingExpert.com, has highlighted some mouth-watering deals for families looking to dine out this month. In his latest newsletter, he’s drawn attention to a host of discounts at well-known restaurant chains such as Pizza Express and Zizzi.
Mr Lewis explained: “Restaurants are quieter in January, so chains including Toby Carvery, BrewDog, Harvester, Franco Manca and more have restaurant discounts to entice you.” He also shared a link for further details on ‘Top January restaurant offers’ on the Money Saving Expert site. Among the deals is a 2 for 1 offer at Pizza Express, where diners can purchase one full-price ‘Classic’ or ‘Leggera’ pizza and get another for just £1.
The cheapest pizza will be discounted to £1, with prices ranging from £11 to £16, potentially saving customers up to £15. This includes options like the vegan Giardiniera pizza, with the offer running until January 30.
BrewDog enthusiasts can enjoy a similar buy one, get one for £1 deal on pizzas and burgers when booking online. Pizzas are priced between £12 and £15 and burgers from £13 to £16, including vegan choices. This is not valid for takeaway, delivery, or walk-ins. The promotion is available until February 16.
Franco Manca also has a discount on the menu, offering pizzas from its main menu or specials board for just £5, a significant drop from the usual £7 to £13.50 range. To take advantage of this offer, customers need to download the app and complete a form on the chain’s website. This offer lasts until January 31.
Diners can enjoy half price meals at several popular venues, although these deals are set to expire soon. Toby Carvery is offering a 50 percent discount on main meals for app orders, dine-in or click and collect, with the offer running until January 10.
Similarly, Harvester is providing a 50 percent reduction on main meals for app orders, dine-in or click and collect, also available until January 10. Zizzi is offering half-price mains when dining in restaurant, with this deal available until January 31.
For fans of Mexican cuisine, Las Iguanas is offering a £10 discount off your bill when you spend at least £20, for dine-in only, with this offer valid until January 31. If you’re after a sweet treat, Bill’s is offering bottomless pancakes for £5 on Fridays, until February 7.
The Real Greek is also offering a £5 souvlaki wrap, saving you £4 off the usual £9 price. This offer is for those dining in and is available until January 31.
