The Traitors on BBC has left fans on the edge of their seats as one Faithful is tipped to be the next ‘favourite’ to meet a grisly end tonight.
The fourth episode of the popular reality gameshow, which aired on Wednesday (January 9) night, was packed with unexpected twists and turns. Viewers watched as two new contestants entered the game while another pair were shown the door.
Shortly after Armani was unmasked as a Traitor, her sister met a tragic end overnight, leaving the rest of the group to discover her fate the following morning. This came after a tense Round Table where Freddie and Kasim found themselves in hot water.
In the end, it was doctor Kas who received the most votes and was sent packing. The episode concluded with another suspenseful cliff-hanger, leaving viewers guessing whether remaining Traitors, Minah and Linda, would select another victim or try to recruit a Faithful. Leanne, who is still hiding her career as a soldier, is the 13/8 favourite, closely followed by priest Lisa at 7/4. However, host Claudia Winkleman confirmed that the Traitors now have the option to recruit a Faithful to their cause.
Returning contestant Fozia is the 4/5 favourite to be given the opportunity to join the Traitors’ ranks. Freddie is 6/4 to receive an invitation from the Traitors, while Anna is 2/1. The three potential recruits for the Traitors could be seen as a sacrificial offering to satisfy the Faithfuls’ hunger, but this strategy might backfire if their new member has different plans.
It remains to be seen whether they will accept the Traitors’ invitation to join them. The odds are 4/6 that they will, as rejecting the offer could make them a target for elimination. On the other hand, it’s 6/4 that they choose to stay with the Faithful. Freddie’s name was quickly mentioned by his fellow contestants after last night’s roundtable discussion, where he received four votes, making him the 6/5 favourite to be the next one banished.
Anna, who received five votes, is next at 13/8, especially after her supposed close friend Dan accused her of being a Traitor. Kasim’s dramatic revelation could lead to more scrutiny of Joe, and he is 2/1 to be the next one out due to the majority vote.
Minah is still the most likely to win, with her odds cut to 8/11. Newcomers Fozia and Alexander are close behind at 13/8 and 2/1 respectively. After another strong Faithful member, Kasim, was eliminated, the odds of the Traitors winning have been further reduced – to 8/15. Meanwhile, the Faithful stand at 15/8 to come out on top.
