Sky has just revamped its pricing for bill payers, offering a fantastic deal to kick off the new year that could save you £120 off the usual price.

The package, priced at £35 per month instead of the typical £40, includes Sky TV, Netflix, a Sky Stream box, and Sky’s Full Fibre 150 Broadband. This deal has been on the radar of bargain hunters since last week when it was launched alongside other January sale deals on January 3.

Although the new £35 per month offer was highlighted, it was the only deal with a later ‘buy now’ date, which is now available. Included in this package is the impressive Sky Stream box, allowing you to stream all your favourite shows from major services. It also delivers terrestrial channels over the internet, eliminating the need for a roof aerial and requiring only decent Wi-Fi at home.

Also included is the new Essential TV plan, featuring Sky Atlantic – home to shows like House of the Dragon, The Last of Us and Billions as well as Discovery+. Netflix is also part of the deal, providing access to blockbusters like Jackal, The Lincoln Lawyer or the new season of Squid Game, reports the Express.

If you’re without a TV, Sky Glass is available for an additional £14 per month, ensuring you can enjoy your favourite shows on a brand new television with built-in streaming capabilities.

While Sky customers could save up to £120 this New Year, Virgin Media is offering a competitive deal with a whopping £504 discount on their Biggest Combo TV and broadband plan, now just £69 per month instead of the usual £97. However, it’s worth noting that this is still pricier than the Sky TV, Netflix, and Sky Stream bundle.

Other deals you can get from Sky

If you just want that 150Mbps broadband without the TV, you’ll be able to get it for £27 a month – which saves you £48 over the life of the contract, as it was £29 a month.

If you’re more interested in mobile deals, Sky is also offering 6-months half price on data plans with Sky Mobile. That will snag you a 100GB plan for £15 a month, or a 10GB plan for £7 a month for the first half of the year. Note that this is for a SIM-only deal, so you’ll need to have the phone first.

Sky Mobile runs on the O2 network, offering great 5G coverage, there’s unlimited calls and texts on all plans, while data that you don’t use will roll over to the next month.

If you’re considering whether to invest in a Sky TV package, especially given the long-term commitment it requires, here’s what other customers and users have to say. This includes feedback from a household that recently upgraded to a plan including Netflix and Discovery Plus.

Sky TV
Sky has made some huge TV price cuts

One user shared their experience on Trustpilot, stating: “The box arrived and so easy to install. All channel including paramount plus Netflix and discovery plus has saved us so much money.” Another customer expressed satisfaction with their decision to switch, saying: “Switched to Sky Stream a few weeks back and so far it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Installation takes care of itself, the remote even auto tunes itself to the TV.”

They added that the best part was having all streaming subscriptions charged under one bill, for example, Disney +, Paramount +, etc. However, not everyone had a positive experience, as some reviewers shared less satisfied reviews. One person highlighted an issue with the live pause feature, stating: “If you use the live pause feature at some point it freezes and you have to come off the channel and loses what you have paused.”
