Primark shoppers have been searching their local stores to get their hands on a viral set of pyjamas. These cosy-looking items could easily have been taken from the set of a highly popular Netflix series.
Fans of Squid Game can now immerse themselves in the show’s spirit with ‘epic’ pyjama sets available at Primark. T second series of the popular South Korean thriller was released on Boxing Day 2024.
TikToker Shivani Khosla (@Khoslaa) embarked on a hunt for these items just days after the series premiered. In her viral video, she discovered the full range on offer at her local Primark store.
The collection includes a T-shirt and shorts set priced at £11. As well as a long-sleeved tracksuit – just like the attire worn by characters in the show – retailing at £25.
According to the online description: “The green funnel neck sweatshirt matches the iconic player uniforms from the series, while the coordinating joggers complete your off-duty look. The stretch-infused fleece fabric will help keep you comfy, whether you’re enjoying your favourite series from the sofa or heading out to casual weekend plans. Style with white trainers for an authentic player vibe, or slip into your favourite sliders for ultimate lounging comfort.”
The first wave of pyjamas sold out fast, largely due to the popularity of the series. Nonetheless, TikTok users have begun noticing restocks, prompting those who initially missed out to “sprint to Primark”, reports the Mirror.
Khosla’s video on the subject drew plenty of comments, with one person saying: “The way I would buy everything Squid Game in Primark! Love these!”
Another chimed in with: “I’m definitely going to Primark now to find these!” A third shared their frustration: “I swear my Primark never has any of this stuff!”
Meanwhile, one helpful person offered sizing advice: “I got large and I’m a [size] 14. They are oversized for me, I hope this helps!” Someone else summed up the collection as “epic” as others were wowed by how ‘real’ the pyjamas look.
Only the long-sleeved option is available to find online – but click-and-collect doesn’t seem to be an option. Shoppers instead can explore the complete list of Primark stores across the UK to check for availability.
