Oral hygiene is – as we all know – really important, so if you’re planning to boost yours this year, you’ve got to have a decent toothbrush to avoid dreaded extra dentist trips.
Luckily, Amazon has got a deal running on the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush. The 4.6 starred product is now £34.99, down from £100, a whopping 65% discount (prices correct at time of writing). This is currently the best price out there, beating Oral-B, Boots and Argos (all £45).
It comes with three cleaning modes, including a tooth whitening setting, and it lets you know, via a buzzer, if you’re brushing too hard. So your gums will thank you for it. Oral-B claims the toothbrush removes up to 100% more plaque than your standard manual brush.

Plus, it comes with a travel case, so you won’t end up with a wash bag covered in toothpaste when you next go away. The toothbrush currently has great reviews at 4.6 out of 9,075 reviews. One customer who titled their review ‘Best electric toothbrush brand on the market’ said: “From the very first use, I noticed how much cleaner and fresher my teeth felt compared to using a manual toothbrush. The oscillating and pulsating movements do an incredible job of removing plaque, and the pressure sensor is a thoughtful feature that ensures I’m not brushing too hard.”
A second said: “This is a really good toothbrush which holds a charge for a long time and has good pressure throughout. It does not require an app which suits me fine and I am very pleased with the look and the price of it.”
A third said: “I really like this electric toothbrush. The round head makes it really easy to get in every corner of my mouth. It has a pressure sensor that glows if you put too much pressure on your teeth or gums. Every 30 seconds it lets you know so you can brush a different part of your teeth but does switch off after two minutes like others I have had.”
However, one warned the plug may be an EU plug: “It does what it supposed to do, however the description says it comes with a 2 pin UK plug. It is coming with EU plug. I have to use a travel adapter to charge it.”
Another flagged the sound it makes: “The motor on this thing is seriously loud. It’s like setting off a hedge trimmer in your bathroom. Great for waking the neighbours.”
If you’re looking for super white teeth, the Philips Sonicare 5300 Electric Toothbrush, available from Argos, is designed to remove surface stains, but it is pricier, costing £75. Fenwicks has a very chic rose gold colour Silkn SonicYou Electric Toothbrush which has “sonic vibration technology” meaning it’s super effective at dislodging plaque and tartar, this one is £89 though.
So for great value on a quality product from a trusted brand, the Amazon deal is worth a look.
