A woman has been hospitalised following a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Co Armagh.
The incident happened along St Patrick’s Street in Keady just before 9am on Monday.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) attended the scene.
A spokesperson said: “NIAS despatched one emergency crew to the incident.
“Following initial assessment and treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance.”
The PSNI confirmed they also attended the scene and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
“Police received a report of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the St Patrick’s Street area of Keady shortly after 9am on Monday, 6 January,” a PSNI spokesperson said.
“Officers attended alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
“Enquiries are at an early stage and anyone with information or dash-cam footage of what happened is asked to contact police.”
The NI Fire Service have also been contacted for comment.
