Michael Lowry will miss Ulster’s Champions Cup game against Leicester on Saturday due to a thigh muscle injury he collected in the win over Connacht.
Ireland internationals Jacob Stockdale (hamstring), Stuart McCloskey (hamstring), Robert Baloucoune (calf), Tom Stewart (hamstring) and James Hume (knee) will also miss out, as will Ben Moxham (knee) and Sean Reffell (ankle). Tom O’Toole is suspected following his red card against Munster.
Hooker Rob Herring, who missed the game in Galway with a calf injury, will be monitored ahead of the European clash.
The good news for Ulster fans is that Ireland lock Iain Henderson, Ethan McIlroy, Callum Reid and Stewart Moore has will be available for selection.
Henderson missed the games over the Christmas period against Munster and Connacht after sustaining an injury in the Champions Cup home defeat by Bordeaux.
