Toronto Police are requesting the public’s assistance identifying two suspects in a break-and-enter investigation.

On Dec. 21 just before midnight, police were called for a break and enter in the area of Kingston Rd. and Beech Ave., where two suspects entered an underground parking lot.

The suspects broke into several lockers by cutting the locks, ransacked the contents and stole items.

The suspects fled the scene in an Audi SUV.

The first suspect is a man in his 40s who was wearing a disposable blue face mask, white gloves, a black Milwaukee hooded jacket, blue jeans and white Nike shoes with white laces and the words “Nike Air” and the Nike logo in black on the back of the shoe.

The second suspect is in his 20s with short, dark hair and is clean shaven. At the time, he was wearing a disposable blue face mask, white gloves, Jordan Legacy 312 black/wolf-grey, valor-blue Nike shoes with a blue logo on the side, Nike in orange on the front strap and the Air Jordan logo on the back of the shoe.

The vehicle is a black, older-model Audi Q5 with no plate attached.

MOTORCROSS RIDER INJURED AT SHOW

A Motocross rider was hurt after performing a jump during the North American International Motorcycle Supershow.

Motorcross rider Christian Martinez was taken to a hospital after executing a big jump during the show. He was alert when taken to the hospital by paramedics.

There was no word on his condition.

POLICE PROBE SHOOTING, CARJACKING

Peel Regional Police are investigating if a carjacking is related to a shooting in Mississauga.

On Saturday just before midnight, police were called to an attempt carjacking of a high-end vehicle in the area of Lorne Park Rd. and Garden Rd.

The victim suffered minor injuries. The unknown suspect or suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

On Sunday just before 12:30 a.m., police received a report of a person with a gunshot wound at a hospital.

The person was transported to a local trauma centre and was in non-life threatening condition.

“Police are working to determine if there is any connection between these two incidents,” police said in a release.

The investigation ongoing.
