Beauty fans looking for a way to kickstart the January reset with some pampering can pick up over £100 worth of self-care treats for £30 at M&S this weekend. It comes as the high street retailer has launched their annual Wellness Beauty Box, which saves shoppers more than £70 on the contents.
Starring 10 products, four of which are full sized, each product works out at £3, with some usually costing up to £18. As such, it’s ideal for anyone looking to stock up on beauty buys on a budget, while prioritising self-care in the New Year.
Inside the edit are a range of brands from the M&S beauty hall, including Arkive, Dr Paw Paw and Emma Hardie, as well as items from the retailer’s own range including Apothecary and Fresh Elements. The products span various categories including skincare, candles and haircare.
Among the full-sized items are a Bloom and Blossom Hands Up Hand Cream valued at £18, a £12 bottle of M&S’s Apothecary Restful perfume, an Arkive The Future Youth Treatment Mask usually priced at £14, and a Bloom Face Massager worth £10.
However, don’t overlook the smaller items as some of these hold significant value too. For skin needing a post-festive-season rejuvenation, the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm 30ml, worth £18, is the perfect size for a getaway or for testing the product before investing in the full size.
According to the M&S website, the edit is the number one bestseller in the gifting category this week, and is the perfect New Year treat to yourself, January birthday gift, or a lovely way to spoil a new mum.
As this is a fresh edit, there are currently no reviews from shoppers, which often assist other customers in deciding whether or not to purchase. However, as someone who has written about numerous beauty boxes from M&S, Boots, Next, ASOS and more over the last 12 months, I can tell you that Marks and Spencer’s are typically very popular and offer savings of over half the retail value. There might be one or two items you’re not keen on, but they can always be saved as stocking fillers for next Christmas.

Rivalling M&S with their first ever wellness box this year is health and beauty retailer Boots. Dropping just in time for a January reset, the £160 haul is priced at £35 and contains 17 health and wellness products from trending brands like Gold Collagen, Myvitamins and DIRTEA. It comes as the high street chain has noticed an increase in customers taking a more holistic approach to beauty.
Elsewhere, Space NK has rolled out their 2024 Best of Beauty edit, a haul of premium products valued at over £260. Coming in at £100, the edit is brimming with 13 must-have items covering haircare, makeup, and skincare. Meanwhile, Next has released a Luxury Beauty Box, worth £228, for £50. One of the products inside, the ELEMIS Superfood Oil is worth £54 alone, rendering the other seven products basically free.
