Now that the Christmas festivities are over, many people will be planning their 2025 holidays to bat away those January blues.
And luckily for them, Eurostar launched a flash sale yesterday (Friday 3) with discounted train tickets to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and more.
One-way tickets on its trains are selling for just £35, and what’s better is that you don’t even need a. promotional code. Eurostar said the discounts can be bagged if passengers book to travel between London and Paris, Lille or Brussels between 14 January and 3 April 2025 or from London to Amsterdam or Rotterdam between 14 January and 28 March 2025.
However, those planning a European city break to the selected destinations will need to be quick, as the sale will end at 10.59pm on 9 January.
The sale comes after Eurostar launched a similar sale back in September. TikTok influencer Chelsea, known as @cheapholidayexpert shared details about the sale with her 160,400 followers on the site at the time. She also explained how you can get cheap Eurostar tickets all year round, even if you miss the sale.
Explaining how you nab the cheap tickets, Chelsea told her fans to head to the Eurostar website and scroll down to the flash sale graphic and click ‘Book now’.
However, even if there isn’t a sale on, Chelsea said you can use the ‘Find lowest fares’ section on the website to get yourself the best deal.
Chelsea also revealed how you can save an additional 10% on your Eurostar train ticket by using Uber. She said those who book through the Uber app get 10% back in Uber credits. You can also collect 1 Avios credit for every £1 spent.
She said: “So what I would do, I would use the Eurostar website to find out when the cheap prices are, what day you wanna go, what time, then come back onto Uber and you’ll get 10% back as Uber credits, which you can spend on other trains, on taxis and also on Uber Eats.”
People were loving her tips, as the video racked up hundreds of likes. However one person moaned: “35 pound should be normal price or the masses will keep flying.”
