World Wrestling Entertainment’s Elimination Chamber weekend in Toronto just got even bigger.
WWE announced on Friday morning that it will be hosting Smackdown live at Scotiabank Arena on Feb. 28 as part of its premium live event weekend in Toronto, where it will put on a live event at the Rogers Centre for the first time since 2002.
WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings, announced seven live events for 2025 as part of its Road to WrestleMania tour, including the Scotiabank Arena Smackdown.
Monday Night Raw will be hosted at KeyBank Centre in Buffalo, just over the border, on March 3, following Elimination Chamber on March 1.
Most notable for the Toronto weekend is the final Toronto appearance by the legendary John Cena, who is returning to WWE for 2025 to wrestle one final full-time run before retiring.
Tickets for the Smackdown at Scotiabank Arena go on sales Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com.
