A discount store in Kingswood has announced it will close in just over a week’s time. Buyology Kingswood, on Regent Street, shared in a Facebook post on December 30 that its last working day will take place on Monday, January 13.
In the post, the store shared a photo of its shopfront displaying a banner that reads ‘everything must go’. The caption alongside it read: “Unfortunately, we are closing down and our last working day will be the 13th of January.
“We would like to thank our lovely customers for the support that you have given us and all the staff for working so hard throughout the time that Buyology has been in Kingswood. We will miss all of you and our neighbours.”
This news comes just over a year after BristolLive reported how Buyology had taken over the CM3 stores that had gone into liquidation in September 2023. The five shops – in Church Road in Redfield, Regent Street in Kingswood, High Street in Keynsham and Calne and Melksham in Wiltshire – were all believed to have been taken over by the same company.

A second added: “Sad times… useful shop and the ladies who work there are always so helpful and friendly.” While a third wrote: “Absolute shame, one of the best shops left in Kingswood, where you can buy all your household needs… A sad day for Kingswood.”
