A 26-year-old Caledon man faces a slew of charges stemming from a home invasion in Caledon East on Thursday.
Caledon OPP say officers responded to a report of a home invasion in progress at a residence on Ann McKee St. just after 5 a.m.
The home invader was allegedly operating a black Jeep Wrangler.
Police say later that day, the same black Jeep Wrangler was located after a search warrant was executed on both a suspect vehicle and residence.
A handgun, ammunition and a stolen Porsche were allegedly among the property seized.
Abhishek Shukhand faces nine charges, including five firearm-related offences.
Investigators are looking for surveillance or dashcam footage of the area on Thursday between the hours of 5:15 a.m. and 6 a.m.

MAN, 36, ACCUSED OF FIVE TORONTO BANK HEISTS
A 36-year-old man has been charged in a series of recent bank robberies in the city.
Toronto Police say officers responded to five calls in the areas of Islington Ave. and Rexdale Blvd., Eglinton Ave. E. and Laird Dr., Eglinton Ave. W. and Renforth Dr., and Royal York Rd. and Lawrence Ave. W. between Dec. 20 and Dec. 30.
It’s alleged in each incident a man entered a bank, produced a knife and demanded cash, which he took before fleeing.
Investigators subsequently identified a suspect and arrested him in the area of The Queensway and North Queen St. on Thursday.
Jeffrey Laviolette, of no fixed address, is charged with five counts of robbery with an offensive weapon.

ASSAILANTS SOUGHT IN BEAVERTON STABBING
A number of assailants are sought after a man was stabbed in Beaverton on New Year’s Day.
Durham Regional Police say officers responded to the area of Park Ave. and Osborne St. around 4:50 a.m. on Jan. 1 and found a man suffering from stab wounds.
It’s alleged the victim was approached by the assailants near Mill and Bay Sts. and he was stabbed after a brief interaction.
The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with video footage, including dashcam and home surveillance, to come forward.

MAN ACCUSED OF DRUNK DRIVING AFTER ALLEGEDLY FLEEING BRAMPTON CRASH
A 30-year-old man faces impaired driving and five other charges after allegedly fleeing the scene of a Brampton crash earlier this week.
Caledon OPP say an officer found a vehicle with no front plate and no headlights on Airport Rd. in Caledon just after 10 p.m. on Monday.
“The vehicle was stopped and found to have significant front-end collision damage,” police said in a statement released Friday.
It was later discovered that the driver was allegedly involved in a fail-to-remain collision in Brampton earlier that same day.
“During the interaction, the officer formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested,” police said.
Surjeet Singh, of Cambridge, is charged with six offences including operation while impaired (alcohol).
His driver’s licence was also suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven.
