A person is in critical condition after a New Year’s Day shooting in North York.
Toronto Police said on X they were investigating reports of shots being fired just after 9 p.m. in the Yorkdale Cres.-Jodphur Ave. area and that a shooting victim had walked into a hospital.
The victim’s injuries were later determined to be life-threatening and police said they are still investigating the incident.
There was no information on suspects and police said there were road closures near the scene of the shooting as they investigate.
