Many sports fans were stunned when it was revealed in late 2023 that legendary football coach Bill Belichick was dating a 24-year-old former cheerleader.
Well, the story just got even spicier: Apparently, the new University of North Carolina boss and Jordon Hudson have been dating even longer than previously thought.
Hudson shared a New Year’s tribute in her Instagram Story in which she admitted that she and the football great actually began their relationship in 2022 – long before Belichick had announced his split from his ex-girlfriend, Linda Holliday.
While she did not post an image of Belichick himself, her snap did show her clinking champagne glasses with someone who appears to be the six-time Super Bowl winner.
Hudson’s caption read, “Cheers!!! To our 3rd midnights’ kiss,” before she delivered a pointed message to her critics.
“Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for ‘public knowledge:’ yet somehow everything changed. 4th calendar year; going strong,” she wrote.
She then added in a smaller font, “I can’t wait to take punches for you in 2025. Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity.”
She also posted a picture of what appears to be a man’s hand holding her phone while it played Taylor Swift’s New Year’s Day.
Hudson and Belichick have come under fire for their relationship, mainly due to the 48-year age gap between the pair.
The reveal that they have been seeing each other even longer than previously reported will provide more ammo for her detractors.
The “third midnights kiss” and “fourth calendar year” lines are notable because news of Belichick’s split from Holliday only became public knowledge in late 2023.
People Magazine reported in September 2023 that Belichick and Holliday separated after 16 years together, adding that the “relationship ran its course” and that they had “been pretty separate for a while.”
“Bill is all about football and very busy now,” the outlet’s sources said at the time. “He doesn’t want a lot of public attention on this.”
