Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have stepped out for the first time since they were last seen leaving their royal residency minutes before the King’s Christmas Day speech.
The royal pair were spotted in a car making a short trip to Windsor Castle, just over three miles south of their residence.

The former married couple celebrated Christmas away from King Charles and the Royal Family at Sandringham following his recent connection to a scandal.
Sarah Ferguson is thought to have persuaded the duke to spend the day at Royal Lodge after the younger brother of King Charles was revealed to have links to an alleged Chinese “spy”.
He was described as a “close confidant” of Yang Tengbo, who was banned from the UK on national security grounds.
Fergie, who has maintained a friendship with Andrew for over a decade, has continued to publicly show support for the duke.
Prince Andrew stepped back from royal duties and returned royal titles in 2019 due to significant public backlash after his infamous 2019 Newsnight interview in which he discussed his friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffery Epstein.
He continues to keep a low public profile.
The duke was engaged in a royal feud with his older brother over his residency at the Windsor property previous to the revelations of the Chinese “spy” scandal.
The King suggested Andrew and Fergie downsize to Frogmore Cottage, the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, in a bid to cut costs.

Following the King axing his brother’s £1million annual allowance he has relied on since 2019, the Duke of York seemed to withstand pressures after finding the necessary funds to maintain the property.
The exact sources of this money remain unconfirmed, although it has been confirmed as legitimate.
The scale of Royal Lodge is considerable, featuring 30 rooms and 21 secluded areas.
The property requires ongoing upkeep and maintenance, with the duke responsible for rebuilding where necessary under the terms of the 75-year lease he signed in 2006.
